How this site is built — and what it does not collect

This site carries no advertising, social-tracking or fingerprinting scripts. It is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes the request and, like any host, receives your IP address. The two typefaces are now served from this site, so they are not requested from Google Fonts. The studio map is an embedded Google service loaded when you reach the contact section; Google may set its own cookies or local storage for that frame.

Page paths and anonymous view/enquiry counts are recorded by a first-party Cloudflare endpoint; no cookie, visitor id, email address or IP address is stored with them. Read the full privacy policy and website terms.

One first-party cookie is used only to deliver the encrypted photographs and renders: edipt_sid, a random HttpOnly identifier with SameSite=Strict, valid for up to 180 days. It contains no personal information and is not used for analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking. Short-lived access tokens are issued against it.

The contact form is delivered through FormSubmit, a form-to-email service, only when you choose to send a message. The details you enter are passed to that service to deliver the enquiry to our studio inbox; this site does not store them.

The page-view counter in the browser uses no cookies and no personal identifiers. Counts are also available in the local analytics dashboard. Aggregate path counts go to the studio's own first-party endpoint, never to an advertising network. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the local and aggregate counters are both skipped.

The site animates by default: the slow band of words, the drifting artwork, the pages that settle in as you scroll. A switch beside the theme toggle turns all of it off, and the choice is remembered in this browser on every page. Where scripting is unavailable, the site follows the system's reduced-motion setting instead.

Set in Cormorant Garamond and Archivo. All artwork is generative SVG drawn in the browser; the social share image is og-image.png, rendered from og.svg by the script in tools/.

The public pages are generated from one hand-edited HTML file by the scripts in tools/. A small Cloudflare Worker issues short-lived keys and serves the encrypted image files over the same site. There is no application framework and no database.
