Architecture, landscape and interior design — built quietly, travelled by people who notice the light.
Scroll to worksWe repeat the problem in the client's own words before we add one of our own, so the first page is a mirror, not a brochure.
Three readings before a single wall is drawn: where the light arrives, how people move through it, and what the space should do to sound.
We hold a single plan long enough to be sure of it, then explore its edges — sections, details, the things the plan cannot yet say.
Specifications are written to be read by the people who will build them; if a detail survives contact with a trowel, it stays.
We document each completed project honestly — what worked, what we would do differently — and let the work sit before we speak about it again.

In a cinema, the seat is not furniture added at the end. It sets the row pitch, the sightline, the width of the aisle and the amount of sound the room absorbs. At Cineverse Cinema in Bardoli, a 9,300 m² multiplex, the brief called for plush recliners and sofa seating across the auditoriums. At Pragati Cinema in Surat, the same question had to be answered inside a 1,200 m² interior.
We kept the material palette quiet: deep tones that disappear when the film begins, seams that can be cleaned and maintained, and a seat that holds its shape without asking the audience to notice it. Comfort is part of the architecture, even when it looks like furniture.
The Riverfront Sanctuary began with the river, but not with a view. In a 146 m², three-bedroom apartment in Surat, the real luxury was the way light moves across the living and dining room through the day. We kept the shared rooms open to that light, then used wood, marble and a restrained palette to hold it rather than compete with it.
The private rooms turn inward. Each bedroom has its own layer of calm — bespoke headboards, wardrobes that disappear into the wall, and ambient lighting that can be lowered without turning the room cold. The river is present in the colours and the long, unhurried sightlines; it does not need to be on every wall.
A bridal studio is a sequence before it is a room. At Bridal Studio by Pinal in Surat, the 46 m² plan is arranged around arrival: the first wash of terracotta-pink, the warmth of the lighting, the moment the mirrors come into view. The client should feel the room slow down before the appointment begins.
The details do the work — the white-tiled nail studio with its gold lettering, the arched Hollywood mirrors, the rose-gold seating, the illuminated jewellery case, and a small sacred corner with fresh flowers and pampas grass. Nothing is only decorative. Each element gives the visit a place to pause, look and be looked after. The room before the mirror is as important as the mirror itself.
EDIPT is led by two practitioners who carry projects from first site visit to handover — architecture in Surat and across Gujarat, interior and fit-out work for commercial and cultural clients, with occasional work further afield.
We take projects that need more than one hand. When a project needs a specialist — structural, MEP, acoustic — we bring one in and stay in the room during the conversation.
Good building is mostly a question of paying attention for long enough.
If a room cannot be described by the sound inside it, the design is not finished yet.

How to reach us
Email is best for the first note. We will suggest a call, a visit, or both, depending on what you are making.
The interior architecture of Pragati Cinema is anchored in the seamless synthesis of spatial ergonomics, high-performance acoustics, and contemporary hospitality aesthetics. Designed to elevate the cinema-going experience, the project transitions the auditorium from a purely functional viewing space into an immersive, multi-sensory environment. Every element—from the structural sightlines to the acoustic wall treatments—is specified to deliver uncompromised luxury and performance.
This page exists so the site can be honest about its own footprint. It is the kind of thing a studio in 2026 should be able to say out loud without being asked twice.
This site uses no cookies. There is no login, no newsletter, no tracking pixel, no third-party analytics, and no advertising. The only thing stored on your machine is a small, locally-saved page counter that never leaves this browser.
Every page keeps a tiny store under the key edipt-analytics-v1 — a page view count, a first-visit date, and a per-day tally. It is the same store the project view uses to remember which project you last opened. Nothing is transmitted. The counter resets if you clear your browser storage, which is the intended behaviour.
We do not fingerprint your browser. We do not set any identifiers. We do not share anything with ad networks or social platforms. We do not log anything server-side, because there is no server-side logging that a person other than you can read.
The site requests one font from Google Fonts, on every visit, so the serif and sans-serif faces render the way we intend. We chose Google Fonts because it is the lowest-friction way to get the two families we use, and because it does not otherwise participate in the rest of the page. If you prefer to block it and accept the fallback, the site still works.
The email address on this site is a real address for the studio. It is not a tracking mailbox, it is not hidden behind a form that owns your data, and we do not hand it to anyone. The phone number shown in the structured data is the studio number, not a call-tracking number.
Built by EDIPT Design Studio. The page is a single set of hand-written HTML files — no framework, no build step required to read it, no JavaScript that matters for the words. The generated project artwork is inline SVG. The photography is real and credited where the studio has a credit to give. The site is intended to age quietly.
